Give a Goat for Christmas
Make an impact that will last a lifetime! We have plans to raise goats at our center to provide a sustainable food source for our girls. Goats thrive very well here since we have plenty of grass for them to graze on. Goats provide milk (which is a staple of the Maasai diet) and cheese. Female goats multiply, goats are used for food, and their dung is used as fertilizer. For $35 we can purchase a young breeding female goat.
Our goal is to start with 100 goats, which will be enough to nourish our girls with enough excess goat milk to sell in order to cover the costs in caring for the herd. This goat project is truly sustainable! Will you please help us by sponsoring a goat this holiday season? Your goat will make such a difference to the health and well being of the girls here at MGRC. If you would like to dedicate a goat to a friend or a loved one, you will have the option to print an ecard that you can personalize with your own message (instructions will be included in your email receipt). Printed ecards are great to use for stocking stuffers or Christmas cards!
