Oliver Martineau attended Hotchkiss then Vanderbilt, where he studied finance and economics with a minor in Mandarin. He moved to Shanghai after graduating and worked in real estate capital markets for the last 10 years. He most recently lived in HK, before the pandenic, running Lightstone Group’s (a large NY RE developer) Asia office. He is now back in the States and still working for Lightstone.

He has also done a good amount of work with Operation Smile, a charity that sends US doctors to developing nations to perform cleft palate surgeries. He is a donor and has served as a translator for the organization on several mission trips.
